About Forum Publishing Company

Forum Publishing was started in May of 1981 to provide a place for flea market vendors to find wholesale merchandise suppliers and news about the industry. It started out by publishing Flea Market Forum, a  local New York newsletter. Within two years of its launch the small publication doubled in size and went national to circulate to vendors in all 50-states.

In the late 1980′s the name of the magazine was changed to Retailers Forum and focused on independent retail stores nationally. The original flea market version was continued as Swap Meet Magazine in October of 1989.

For almost three decades Forum Publishing has been entrenched in the wholesale-retail industry and assists new businesses with their monthly magazines and a slew of directories and databases designed to help businesses run more efficiently.

Our monthly publications are available in print and online. Retailers Forum, which features wholesale merchandise sources and articles on retailing,  is available free of charge at www.RetailersForum.com. Our book catalog of business directories can be found at www.forum123.com
